There are times when a psychosocial evaluation is helpful in order to move forward with immigration proceedings. We offer psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases, which are often used in the following situations:
Christina aims to create a compassionate, empathic and caring environment for clients. Our approach is to work closely with your attorney and yourself to provide a thorough and efficient evaluation process in a safe and welcoming environment.
Christina offer evening and weekend appointments to provide you with quick turnaround time.
Clinician will meet with clients via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Clinicians will meet with clients 1-3 times; depending on the type of case, age of the client, and timeline.
The clinician asks about the client’s background, daily life, mental health, and other relevant factors. Depending on the case, clinicians may also use additional questionnaires or testing to complete their assessment.
The clinician then writes a comprehensive report that assesses any mental health symptoms within the scope of an immigration case and summarizes their findings and how they relate to the immigration case. Clinicians also offer recommendations for ongoing treatment, if relevant.
A report is then drafted and sent confidentially to your attorney. Once they approve the final draft, a final report is emailed / faxed / mailed to the attorney handling your case.
